Overview
The Collapse uses this website to share DayZ server information, player wiki, player stats, map tools, Discord login, and store item requests. We only collect the information needed to run those features.
Information We Collect
When you use the site, we may collect:
- Discord account information returned by Discord OAuth, including your Discord ID, display name, and avatar URL.
- SteamID64 if you choose to link it for player stats.
- Store payment references from Stripe, including Stripe session ID, payment status, amount, currency, selected item, and the Discord ID attached to the payment.
- Store request details you provide through Discord tickets or staff communication, such as requested custom item details, image/design references, group names, and implementation notes.
- Basic technical information normally sent by a browser or server logs, such as IP address, user agent, timestamps, requested pages, and error information.
- Session cookies used to keep you logged in while using site features.
Payment Information
Payment card details, billing details, and checkout information are collected and processed by Stripe. The Collapse does not store card numbers or payment method details on this website.
Stripe may collect customer information needed for checkout, receipts, fraud prevention, tax, accounting, and payment compliance. The Collapse may receive or store limited payment metadata from Stripe so staff can match a payment to a Discord account, confirm payment status, answer payment questions, and track store item requests.
How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Log you in with Discord.
- Match your Discord account to linked stats or store payments.
- Review, confirm, and implement store item requests, including items that may be added to vending machines for all players.
- Display your player stats when you request them.
- Operate, secure, debug, and improve the website.
- Respond to support, moderation, or account-related questions.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share information only when needed to run site features, comply with law, protect the community, or work with services such as Discord, Stripe, hosting providers, stat providers, and staff systems used to review store requests. Store item results may be visible in-game to all players when an approved item is added to a vending machine or server system.
For example, a Collapse Backpack purchase request is used to confirm the payment and add the backpack to the Advanced Trader vending machine for all players, not to deliver a private item to one account.
In-game clan tag color requests may include the clan or group name, requested color, Discord account, and payment confirmation needed for staff to review and apply the cosmetic chat/group-name change.
Retention
We keep data only as long as reasonably needed for the site feature, server administration, support history, security, accounting, or legal requirements.
Your Choices
You can log out of the website, avoid linking your SteamID64, or avoid using the store payment flow. You can also avoid sending custom item request details through Discord tickets. For help with data questions, contact The Collapse staff through the community Discord.
Children
This website and community are not intended for children under 13. Do not use the site if you are not old enough to use Discord, Stripe, or the game services involved.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy as the website or server features change. The effective date above shows when this version took effect.
